Ministry of National Defense announces: 46 people attempting to enter the country illegally have been apprehended

According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, 46 people were apprehended in an operation conducted for border security. It was determined that 3 of the apprehended individuals were members of the PKK/PYD-YPG terrorist organization, and 1 was a member of the FETÖ terrorist organization.

Turkey's Ministry of National Defense has announced that an important operation was carried out as part of the fight against illegal crossings to ensure the security of our borders.

In the statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that the "border eagles" apprehended 46 people who were attempting to cross illegally from our country to Greece and from Syria into our country.

As a result of a detailed investigation, it was stated that 3 of the apprehended individuals were identified as members of the PKK/PYD-YPG terrorist organization, and 1 as a member of the FETÖ terrorist organization.

The Ministry's statement is as follows:

"Our fight against illegal crossings continues for the security of our borders.

Our border eagles apprehended 46 people attempting to cross illegally from our country to Greece and from Syria into our country.
