Ministry of National Defense announces May 19 program

Rear Admiral Zeki Aktürk, Press and Public Relations Advisor for the Ministry of National Defense, announced that as part of the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, 27 port visits will be conducted with 43 ships, a combat aircraft flypast with 4 F-16 jets will take place in Kahramanmaraş, and demonstration flights by the Turkish Stars and SOLOTÜRK will be held in Samsun.

The Ministry of National Defense has announced its program for the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.

The following statements were included in the announcement:

"We celebrate your May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day in advance on the 105th anniversary of the beginning of our National Struggle, and we commemorate with mercy and gratitude our eternal Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our national struggle heroes, our beloved martyrs, and our heroic veterans who have passed away. As part of the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, 27 port visits will be conducted by floating elements of our Naval Forces with 43 ships, and the ships will be opened to the public for visits. On May 17, a combat aircraft flypast with 4 F-16 jets will be held in Kahramanmaraş, and on May 19, demonstration flights by the Turkish Stars and SOLOTÜRK, as well as a concert by our Mehteran Unit Command, will be performed," he stated.
