The Ministry of National Defense reported that a soldier injured in a traffic accident has been martyred.
The statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense included the following:
"Our heroic comrade-in-arms, Contracted Private Abdulkadir AKINCI, who was injured in a vehicle accident in the Spring Shield Operation region and transferred to the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital where he was receiving treatment and was martyred on March 23, 2024.
We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation."
