Ministry of National Defense announces sad news: Infantry Specialist Sergeant Osman Oktay has been martyred

The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has announced the sad news. In a statement released by the MSB, it was announced that Infantry Specialist Sergeant Osman Oktay, who was wounded in a clash on the Syrian border, has been martyred in the hospital where he was receiving treatment.

The statement from the Ministry of National Defense included the following expressions:

"Our heroic comrade-in-arms, Infantry Specialist Sergeant Osman Oktay, who was wounded as a result of harassment fire opened by members of the separatist terrorist organization on a base area in northern Syria on February 7, 2025, was martyred on February 13 at Gaziantep City Hospital. We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation."
