In a statement made on the Ministry of National Defense's social media account, it was stated that "The opening of our TCG İSTANBUL and TCG SANCAKTAR ships to public visits at Sarayburnu on October 25-26, as well as the band concerts we were to organize in many provinces, have been cancelled."
