Ministry of National Defense: We are extending our country's helping hand to Venezuela

The Ministry of National Defense announced that search and rescue teams and humanitarian aid supplies, prepared at the request of AFAD following the earthquakes in Venezuela's Yaracuy region, have set off.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense, it was stated: "We are extending our country's helping hand to Venezuela. Following the earthquakes in Venezuela's Yaracuy region, search and rescue teams and humanitarian aid supplies, prepared at the request of the AFAD Presidency, have departed from the Mürted Air Base Command on a Turkish Air Force A400M aircraft to be delivered to the disaster zone. Along with AFAD personnel, search and rescue teams from the Turkish Armed Forces Humanitarian Aid Brigade Command will also support the relief efforts. We deeply share the pain of the Venezuelan people affected by the earthquake disaster; we extend our condolences to those who lost their lives, wish a speedy recovery to the injured, and convey our best wishes to all citizens affected by the disaster."
