Ministry of National Education targets CHP-run municipalities: Perception operation and manipulation

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has issued a statement regarding the "cleaning services in schools" issue that has appeared in the media and on social media in recent days. 

In the statement, it was alleged that some CHP-run municipalities are attempting to conduct a perception operation in schools by sending cleaning supplies and personnel for the purpose of political showmanship. The Ministry also provided information regarding the cleaning services carried out in schools.

In its statement, the MEB noted that cleaning services are being carried out regularly in 60 thousand 487 schools affiliated with the Ministry, and that a total of 143 thousand 355 personnel are employed in the execution of these services. 

Furthermore, it was noted that 30 thousand new personnel who started their duties under the "Program for the Benefit of Society" began working full-time as of today.

'USING IT AS MATERIAL FOR POLITICAL SHOWMANSHIP IS NOT ETHICAL'

While the statement expressed that efforts regarding cleaning services are being meticulously carried out by the MEB, it was claimed that CHP-run municipalities are attempting to conduct a "perception operation" by sending cleaning personnel and materials to schools in violation of procedures. The Ministry emphasized that such initiatives without any protocol are unethical and incorrect in terms of public law.

PERCEPTION OPERATION AND MANIPULATION

In the Ministry's statement, it was noted that isolated negative images from schools are being used in a way that casts suspicion on all schools and their administrations, and it was stated that such initiatives amount to "political showmanship devoid of sincerity and the manipulation of society."
