The Ministry of Trade has updated its Unsafe Product List. The ministry banned the sale of children's sweatshirts sold for 1,199 Turkish Lira in Beşiktaş's Kartal Yuvası stores, labeling them as 'unsafe.' It has decided to have these products recalled from the market.

In the ministry's latest announcement, the sale of the product listed as "Beşiktaş Jr Hooded Sweatshirt" was banned. Furthermore, a decision was made to have it recalled from the market.

The reason for the safety concern was explained on the ministry's website with the statement: "Violation of TS EN 14682 Standard Part 3.2.1: 'Clothing intended for young children shall not be designed or manufactured to include drawstrings, functional cords, or decorative cords in the hood, upper chest, or neck area.'"
