Ministry of Trade seizes 358 luxury cars and imposes fines

The Ministry of Trade has identified 358 luxury cars imported into Turkey through irregular means. Legal proceedings have been initiated against those who brought these vehicles into the country. A fine of 530 million TL has been imposed as part of the investigation.

The Ministry of Trade made a notable announcement in the past few hours.

Officials, reporting that an investigation had been conducted in the background, announced that a fine of 530 million TL had been applied. 

According to the official statement, several companies brought 358 luxury vehicles into Turkey through various irregularities.

Fake documents were used during the import of these vehicles into Turkey. As part of the investigation launched, it was determined that a public loss of 530 million TL had occurred. On the other hand, information was also shared that the vehicles had been seized.
