It has been learned that journalist and activist Hakan Tosun, who had not been heard from since the evening of October 10, is in intensive care.
It was determined that Tosun, who last communicated with his family while returning home in Istanbul on the evening of October 10, was assaulted and robbed on his way to visit his family living in Esenyurt.
It was reported that journalist Tosun was found unconscious on the side of the road as a result of a severe blow to his head. It was stated that because he had no identification or any documents on him, he was admitted to the hospital while unconscious, and as a result, he could not be registered, which prevented his family from being contacted.
It was reported that Tosun, who suffered a brain hemorrhage, remains unconscious and is continuing his treatment in the intensive care unit.
