MIT brings alleged PKK leader to Turkey

The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has captured Ipek Demir, one of the alleged leaders of the PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG terrorist organization, in Syria and brought her to Turkey.

According to information obtained from security sources, MIT captured Ipek Demir, codenamed "Çavre Gever," one of the alleged leaders of the PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG, in an operation conducted in Ayn al-Arab.

It was learned that Demir, who was brought to Turkey, joined the organization in Hakkari in 2010, operated in the Zap, Hakurk, Avaşin, and Sinjar regions for approximately 7 years, and was sent to Syria by the terrorist organization in 2017.
