MIT Chief Kalın meets with Hamas delegation

National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Chief İbrahim Kalın met with Hamas Movement Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh and his accompanying delegation in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

According to information obtained from security sources, the meeting focused on prisoner exchanges, developments in Gaza, and ways to achieve a ceasefire and end the siege.

EMPHASIS ON AN INDEPENDENT PALESTINIAN STATE

The meeting also addressed what can be done to deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people. It was emphasized during the meeting that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital is the foundation of stability in the region.
