The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has neutralized Ömer Fırat, the so-called "Sulaymaniyah head" of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization, along with 2 other terrorists in Sulaymaniyah, northern Iraq.

According to information provided by the Ministry of National Defense, it was determined that Ömer Fırat, codenamed "Tolhildan," along with Iranian nationals İrfan Zendi, codenamed "Raman Renas," and Hidayet Resuli, codenamed "Cengaver Mikayil," were located in Sulaymaniyah.
The terrorists were neutralized by MIT in an aerial operation.
Security sources stated that as a result of the operations carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) in northern Iraq, PKK/KCK members had retreated to Sulaymaniyah, which they viewed as a safe zone for themselves, and that the rural areas of Sulaymaniyah can no longer be considered a safe zone for the terrorist organization.
