MKYK remarks from Şamil Tayyar, who failed to find a spot in Erdoğan's A-Team

The 8th Ordinary Grand Congress of the AKP took place yesterday (February 23) at the Ankara Sports Hall.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan determined his new A-Team at the highly anticipated congress. While 39 new names were included in the 75-member Central Decision and Administrative Board (MKYK), it was observed that 36 people were left off the list.
ŞAMİL TAYYAR LEFT OFF THE LIST
Former deputy Şamil Tayyar, one of the figures who criticized party policies and the general headquarters management, was not included in the list.
Following the determination of the lists, Tayyar evaluated his party's 'change' congress.
Commenting that "The subject of 'change' is closed from this point on," Şamil Tayyar included the following statements in his post:
"Especially after losing major cities like Istanbul/Ankara in the local elections, and with the vote rate falling from around 50 percent to the 30s, a very strong wind of 'change' had been blowing in public opinion and the party base.
In this context, we voiced the demands in public opinion and persistently shared our observations, suggestions, and opinions.
Our President also gave the message that he was aware of what was happening while expressing some of the problems that reached him in his congress speeches.
Ultimately, the congress process where these expectations would find an answer was completed as of today, new cadres were formed, and the MKYK and MYK that will lead the AK Party to the election were shaped.
The decision was made, the change was decreed.
In short, the subject of 'change' is closed from this point on.
