Muhammet Subaşı murder: 4 arrested in nightclub attack that left 1 dead!

Five suspects have been detained in connection with the murder of Muhammet Subaşı, who lost his life in an armed attack on a nightclub in Avcılar, Istanbul. The suspects, detained following an investigation by the Murder Bureau of the Public Security Branch, were referred to the courthouse after processing. Four of the suspects were arrested and sent to prison.

The incident occurred on Sunday at 05:50 in front of a restaurant on Ahmet Kaya Street in the Denizköşkler neighborhood. Two individuals, who approached market vendors setting up their stalls in a red car and asked, "There is a restaurant that serves alcohol around here, where is it?", opened fire in front of the restaurant. The attackers fled the scene rapidly in the car they arrived in. Upon notification by bystanders, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Six empty shell casings were found at the scene. A market vendor who witnessed the event said, "A red car arrived. They asked me, 'There is a nightclub here.' I said, 'It's over there.' Then they went and stopped, turned back, and I suddenly saw them firing one after another and fleeing. There were 2 people, one in the front and the other next to him. The windows were half-open and tinted. We were scared because there were children around."

5 SUSPECTS CAPTURED

During the shooting, Muhammet Subaşı, who was standing at the door, was seriously injured by a bullet that struck his face. Muhammet Subaşı (25), who was taken to a private hospital in Avcılar, could not be saved.

Subaşı's funeral was held in Muş. The Murder Bureau of the Public Security Branch launched a comprehensive investigation into the suspects who shot Muhammet Subaşı and fled. Following an examination of security camera footage, 5 suspects were detained.

SUSPECTS REFERRED TO COURTHOUSE

The 5 suspects detained by the Murder Bureau teams were referred to the courthouse. Four of the suspects were arrested and sent to prison.
