Memleket Party Chairman Muharrem İnce made statements to the press in Mersin yesterday regarding these remarks.

While it was alleged that İnce was targeting the CHP with the term 'yavşak', İnce explained his comments by saying, "Regardless of which terrorist organization a relationship is established with, this is a 'yavşak' type of relationship.
