CHP member Muharrem İnce made a statement to Hacı Yakışıklı from tv100 regarding the 'halal money' controversy.
İnce said, "I struggled to find halal money for the Homeland Party. I received many offers of haram (illicit) money. I did not mean anyone else."

New Party Chairman Özgür Özel announced that Muharrem İnce had called him on the phone and stated that he did not direct those words at him, adding, "I have never spoken ill of Muharrem İnce during any of his processes, because he is a child of the party."
