Muharrem İnce reacts to ISIS attack, criticizes AKP: 'Those who cannot protect our borders have brought DAESH right to our doorstep!'

Following the martyrdom of 3 police officers in a terrorist attack by ISIS in Yalova, CHP member Muharrem İnce stated, "Those who cannot protect our borders have brought DAESH right to our doorstep!"

A clash broke out in Yalova when terrorists opened fire on security forces during an operation against the terrorist organization ISIS. The clash in the operation area caused great concern in the city.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced hours after the incident that 3 police officers were martyred in the clash, while 8 police officers and 1 night watchman were injured.

A statement regarding the events also came from CHP member Muharrem İnce. In a post on his social media account, İnce used the following expressions:

"Those who cannot protect our borders have brought DAESH right to our doorstep!

In Yalova, on the road to Elmalık Village, which is also my village, clashes are taking place between our security forces and the terrorist organization DAESH at a location approximately 6-7 km from the village.

I hope that these vile terrorists will be neutralized as soon as possible without any harm coming to our soldiers, police, and citizens."
