Muharrem İnce, who visited Ümit Özdağ at Silivri Prison, shared the message Özdağ sent through his social media account.

In the message shared on the X account of the Memleket Party leader following the meeting between İnce and Özdağ, the following statements were included:

''I visited Zafer Party Chairman Mr. Ü. Özdağ in prison today, who is being held at Silivri Prison. These are the messages he wanted me to share with you:

'I am staying alone in a 7-step cell. On average, 10-12 people come to visit me daily. I am searched every time I go to meet my visitor. I am searched both when going to the meeting and when returning from it. They are fabricating crimes with forged documents. I am a hostage for Abdullah Öcalan. They see me as an obstacle in the constitutional drafting process.''

ÖZDAĞ: 'MY LIFE IS IN DANGER'

In the message he conveyed through İnce, Özdağ also drew attention to the fact that Silivri Prison is high-risk for him. Özdağ also reacted to opposition media channels, claiming that they do not mention him enough.

Özdağ stated the following in his message:

This is a high-security prison; there are PKK members here, and there are ISIS members here. It is a risky prison. My life is in danger. On television, there are channels close to the government. As for opposition, there is only Halk TV. I am forced to watch Halk TV. I am hurt by Halk TV; they never mention me. The prison staff treats me with great respect.''

Muharrem İnce also shared the handwritten note Özdağ gave him. In the note, Özdağ recorded the following:

'Very dear citizens,

Mr. M. İnce showed kindness; he came to visit me. He will share what I have told you. Long live the Republic of Turkey.'
