BÖCEK GAVE HIS STATEMENT AT THE ANTALYA HIGH-SECURITY PRISON

New statements taken within the framework of the investigation were recorded at the Antalya High-Security Prison. Eight people, including Muhittin Böcek, his spouse, and several businesspeople, provided statements. These individuals include Zuhal Böcek, Mustafa Gökhan Böcek, Fazlı Ateş, Halil Tolga Ayvazoğlu, Salih Eyiişleyen, and Mehmet Okan Kaya.

In his statement, Muhittin Böcek denied the accusations directed at him. He specifically rejected the allegations regarding his former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu and the accusations of transferring money to a company for election campaigns. Böcek stated, "There is absolutely no direct or intentional action on my part regarding the accusations leveled against me. It cannot be expected that I would be aware of actions taken by lower-level bureaucrats. Such a financial interest relationship may have been established in my name, but there is no negligence in supervision on my part regarding this matter."

Böcek also denied the allegations that he demanded money from businesspeople and rejected the accusations involving his son in these matters. He stated, "I have been serving in public office since 1994. My family's and my own financial assets are clear. I am not someone who would stoop to the figures these individuals claim, given my personal assets."

THREE PEOPLE RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL

As the investigation continues and new developments occur regarding many individuals, the detained Zuhal Böcek, Halil Tolga Ayvazoğlu, and Salih Eyiişleyen have been released under judicial control. Additionally, a travel ban has been imposed on them.
