Zuhal Böcek, the daughter-in-law of Muhittin Böcek, who was temporarily removed from his post as Metropolitan Mayor after being arrested as part of an investigation into corruption and bribery in Antalya, was referred to the courthouse today following police processing.
Böcek, who was taken into custody upon her return from Germany, is being accused of "laundering assets derived from crime." Zuhal Böcek is expected to first provide her statement to the public prosecutor at the courthouse.
