Murat Kurum confuses which side of the city Beykoz is on

AKP's Istanbul candidate Murat Kurum made another gaffe during a live broadcast he attended. While talking about the 'housing constructions' he had carried out, Kurum forgot that Beykoz is on the Anatolian Side.

AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Candidate Murat Kurum was a guest on TRT Haber.

Kurum made a gaffe during the broadcast while giving examples of housing projects that have been started or already completed in Istanbul. Speaking about housing built in districts on the Anatolian Side, Kurum mistakenly thought Beykoz was on the European Side.

"LET'S CROSS OVER; BEYKOZ..."

Kurum used the following expressions:

"You can see that the 15,000-residence construction site in Kadıköy is reaching completion today. You can see our work in Üsküdar, in Kirazlıtepe. When you go to Ümraniye, you can see our transformation project underway. When we look at Ataşehir, you can see the residences rising. Let's cross over; you can see the transformation in Beykoz Tokatköy, where the entire property issue of Beykoz has been resolved by the Ministry."
