Continuing his local election campaign, the People's Alliance's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) mayoral candidate Murat Kurum attended the Konya Compatriot Meetings.

Following the program, Kurum danced to his campaign music.

The moments of Kurum dancing were captured by an amateur camera, and the footage became a trending topic on social media.

The footage of Kurum dancing brought to mind the images of IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu performing a Caucasian dance.

İmamoğlu's Caucasian dance performance on stage, while attending the opening program of the Caucasian Culture Meetings, had been widely discussed.
