CHP Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan reacted to the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, on his social media account.

Stating that Kurum did not answer his calls and did not return them, Özcan emphasized that the matter was important, saying, "My dear Minister, I am calling you to discuss a very important issue regarding Bolu, but you do not deign to return the call even once for 2 minutes."

"I THINK YOU ARE OBLIGED TO RETURN THE CALL"

Tanju Özcan's X post is as follows:

"Mr. Murat Kurum, I called you for the third time and said I wanted to speak with you on the phone for 2 minutes; you still haven't returned the call. My dear Minister, I am calling you to discuss a very important issue regarding Bolu, but you do not deign to return the call even once for 2 minutes.

Excuse me, but this is not right. Perhaps you are thinking to yourself,  “Am I obliged to return the call?” but I think you are obliged to. Because you are a minister of the Republic of Turkey, even if you are appointed. If an elected mayor insists on meeting, it means the issue is important.

Look, if it continues like this, “I will be offended, I won't call again, and I won't come to the handover ceremony. You will be left waiting with your flowers in hand.”
