Murat Ongun's assets seized: Prosecutor's investigation continues
It has been reported that the assets of Murat Ongun, Chairman of the Board of IBB Medya AŞ, have been seized. Ongun was detained as part of a terror and corruption investigation conducted against İmamoğlu.

The duty magistrate judge announced that Murat Ongun's assets have been seized. The investigation into IBB Medya A.Ş., where Ongun serves as Chairman of the Board, was ongoing. Ongun was known as one of İmamoğlu's close associates. It was stated that the decision was made upon the request of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Ongun was detained on March 19 and referred to the prosecutor's office for questioning. It was also noted that the assets of businessman Muhittin Palazoğlu, a relative of Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known to the public as Cübbeli Ahmet, have been seized.
Based on MASAK reports, the court had also previously seized the assets of CHP presidential hopeful and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu as a precautionary measure.
DECISION REGARDING İMAMOĞLU'S COMPANY
Imamoğlu İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, a company in which Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is a partner, has been seized. This decision was taken by the duty magistrate judge upon the request of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
An investigation was being conducted into İmamoğlu and 99 suspects on charges of managing a criminal organization, membership in a criminal organization, extortion, bribery, aggravated fraud, unlawful acquisition of personal data, and bid-rigging. Seven people, including İmamoğlu, IBB Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, and Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, were being investigated for 'aiding the PKK/KCK terrorist organization.'
In line with the MASAK reports obtained during the investigation, a decision was made to seize Imamoğlu İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi. Upon the prosecutor's request, the duty magistrate judge approved this decision.
