Murder from 3 months ago solved with this footage

The murder of Yavuz Pahsa, who was killed in the middle of the street in Kartal, Istanbul, 3 months ago by a person he was arguing with, has been solved thanks to security camera footage obtained. Following the incident, teams from the Murder Bureau launched an investigation and identified the perpetrator in the footage as Yusuf A. The suspects were apprehended as a result of close surveillance.

The incident occurred on November 21, 2023, at approximately 02:15 in the Orhantepe Neighborhood. According to allegations, Yavuz Pahsa, who was shot by individuals he was arguing with in the middle of the street, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital.

FOOTAGE PROVIDED THE LEAD

Following the incident, teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Murder Bureau launched an investigation.

During the work carried out in the area of the incident, footage of the event was obtained. Seeing in the footage that there were 3 suspects, the police followed the trail. Based on the footage, the police identified the suspects.

DEBT DISPUTE

Suspects A.Ş.A. and M.Y.K. were caught and arrested shortly after in Trabzon and Sakarya. The police organized an operation to catch the last fugitive suspect of the incident, Yusuf A. The suspect was taken into custody at the house where he was hiding. After his procedures were completed at the Public Security Branch Office, the suspect Yusuf A. was referred to the courthouse. In the investigation conducted regarding the incident, it was stated that the murder was committed as a result of an argument over a debt dispute.
