The young woman was found dead in her home a few days ago. Initial assessments focused on the possibility that the cause of death could be suicide. Some posts made by Eraslan on her own Instagram account immediately before the incident drew attention. The message, which carried the nature of a personal farewell, included the phrases, “There will be things I haven’t shared, things you don’t know, things I haven’t told you. All I know is that I was a very good person. I never did anyone any harm.” In the next post, a bloody note caught the eye. In it, a request was made for her dogs to be taken care of, and an apology was offered to her father.
Upon receiving reports, police and medical teams arrived at the scene and determined that Ayşegül Eraslan had lost her life. Following this development, there was great sadness on social media and among the public.

Eraslan’s close friend, photographer Semih Palancı, put forward a significant claim regarding her death. Making a statement on his social media account, Palancı alleged that the handwriting in the farewell note shared by Eraslan did not belong to her. Palancı expressed this situation with the words, “Ayşegül did not commit suicide. Ayşegül was the victim of a femicide. We will not allow this incident to be covered up. We want the truth to come out and for those responsible to be held accountable before the law.”
On the other hand, Palancı also stated that they have requested that these suspicions, which they have reported to the police, be clarified through an autopsy report and forensic medical examinations. While the comprehensive investigation by police and forensic teams continues, the incident is being investigated in all its aspects.
