İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu arrived in Karabük for a series of visits. Responding to questions from members of the press there, Dervişoğlu addressed the allegation that the Martyrs and Veterans Association was called and told, 'Do not accept Dervişoğlu,' saying, "Some political parties are currently hosting and visiting Abdullah Öcalan and his cronies. Therefore, my visits may bother some people, but I will continue to bother them."

Stating that the terrorist organization PKK, along with its extensions YPG/PYD, held a Kurdish Unity Workshop, Dervişoğlu noted that the terrorists who participated in the meeting and are wanted with red notices are demanding a constitution, autonomy, federation, and Kurdistan in Syria.

Müsavat Dervişoğlu said, "I do not believe that anything good for the survival of the Republic of Turkey will come out of a process arranged under the guidance of Öcalan. Because we have seen this movie before. If those who are doing this like it so much, I would like to remind them: A smart person does not let a snake bite them twice from the same hole. You did something similar, and you saw what happened to our nation and what happened to you. You were poisoned by these snakes. Now you are embarking on the same adventure again, and at the same time, you are implementing the project placed before you. What is being tried to be sold to us today as a 'Terror-Free Turkey' is the implementation of the Greater Middle East Project and the realization of the ideal of establishing a 'terroristan' on our borders. When you sat at that table, did you ask those people which of their ambitions they have abandoned?"
