There was a reaction from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) to Dervişoğlu's remarks regarding the new resolution process he referred to as a 'Turkey without terror'.

MHP Secretary General İsmet Büyükataman claimed that Dervişoğlu spoke with a 'superficial and day-to-day political understanding' at the group meeting and stated the following:

"The words of this individual, who has made it a habit to wake up one morning and change his stance according to the direction of the wind, which exceed his limits and are fed by lies against our Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, will be thrown in his face by the great Turkish nation when our 'Turkey without terror' goal is achieved."

Büyükataman used the expression, "Both Müsavat Dervişoğlu and the global terror barons who feed on blood are disturbed by our goal of a Turkey without terror."

MHP's Büyükataman stated the following:
