In a written statement issued by MÜSİAD, allegations that have been circulating for some time on social media and various channels regarding the organization and its members engaging in trade with Israel were addressed.

"UNFOUNDED ALLEGATIONS..."

The statement, which pointed out that Israel is clearly condemned, included the following remarks:

"As MÜSİAD, we first and foremost do not accept in any way the inhumane cruelty that Zionist Israel carries out against the Palestinian people, regardless of whether they are children, women, or the elderly; we describe it as a genocide and condemn it. MÜSİAD is an important organization that has gained a voice in our country and on international platforms as a result of the stance it has shown with its nearly 14 thousand members who possess national and moral values, its nearly 60 thousand companies, and the 34 years of experience it holds. This influence and the breadth of its sphere of impact have disturbed certain circles that do not have good intentions and have reached the point of damaging our Association's reputation. They are occupying the public agenda with allegations and delusions put forward in an effort to manipulate social perception. As MÜSİAD, we have been fighting against such unfounded allegations for a long time.

In recent days, our organization and all our members have been implicated based on 'the alleged commercial activities of a few of our members with Israel.' For this reason, we are meticulously examining the allegations that cast suspicion on our organization and all our members in accordance with our charter, and we are carrying out our internal processes. When the processes are completed, the public will be informed."

"WE CONDEMN CIRCLES THAT TRADE WITH THE ZIONIST ISRAELI ADMINISTRATION AND ITS SUPPORTERS"

The statement pointed out that Palestinian lands are under occupation and made the following assessment:

"It should not be forgotten that more than 6 million Muslim Palestinians live in the occupied Palestinian territories and under Israeli oppression, and until they achieve their independence, they are forced to continue their trade through Israel. In this context, we, as the MÜSİAD community, have full faith that our members, who have adopted ethical trade as their motto, continue their commercial activities in line with common values. We once again clearly express our stance and condemn the circles that trade with the Zionist Israeli administration, its sympathizers, supporters, and followers. We do not believe that any of our brothers and sisters who uphold MÜSİAD values could add fuel to the fire of the Zionists while this cruelty is being inflicted upon Palestine."

"DO NOT GIVE CREDENCE TO SLANDEROUS AND DEFAMATORY REPORTS"

The statement, which reported that they encourage their sincere and well-intentioned friends all over the world to defend the Palestinian cause and that they value the sensitivity shown in this area, conveyed that every well-intentioned initiative for the Palestinian cause is very valuable to MÜSİAD.

The statement concluded, "We earnestly request that no credence be given to the slanderous and defamatory reports put forward about our organization and our members. As we have always said, we reaffirm once again that we will continue to demonstrate our emphasis on ethical trade in every field by acting with the principle of being 'One and Together'."
