Great Unity Party (BBP) Chairman Mustafa Destici made statements regarding a post he shared on his social media account.
Addressing allegations regarding a past tweet about "autonomy," Destici stated that they are against the resolution process and do not meet with its political extensions. Regarding the 25 party logos in his social media post, he explained that these were the parties that cooperated on May 14 and 28, as well as the parties that supported the Nation Alliance's presidential candidate. Stating that he did not want any other meaning to be derived from this post, he emphasized that his purpose was clear.
Destici also shared his views on the fight against terrorism and immunity files.
Stating that negotiations between the AK Party and the BBP regarding a local election alliance are ongoing, Destici noted the following:
"Our delegations held their third meeting last night. We will also have a meeting with our President today. After that, we will determine our roadmap much more clearly. But let me say this: as the BBP, we desire to enter the elections in almost all district municipalities, and in all 51 provinces outside of the metropolitan areas. We will participate in the elections with our own candidates, our own logo, and our own emblem in all municipal council memberships and all provincial general assembly memberships, God willing. There may be some exceptions to these, but our general attitude, thought, decision, and implementation will be in this direction. There may be cooperation with the People's Alliance in some other provinces, primarily in metropolitan areas. We have reached the end of this, and when it is finalized, we will share it clearly with the public."
