The motion submitted by CHP Erzincan Deputy Mustafa Sarıgül regarding the investigation of the mining disaster that occurred in İliç has been accepted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly.

Sarıgül announced that his motion had been accepted, stating, “I am both saddened, emotional, and in a way, pleased. The research motion I submitted after many years has been accepted.
We will investigate the mining disaster in İliç. Whoever is at fault or negligent will be revealed,” he said.
COMMISSION ESTABLISHED
Sarıgül stated that the members of the parliamentary research commission that will investigate the mining disaster in İliç have been determined and that the commission will begin its work.
The commission consists of the following deputies:
