Prof. Dr. Naci Görür shared an evaluation regarding the 4.6-magnitude earthquake on his social media account.
Görür stated that the earthquake occurred on the northern branch of the North Anatolian Fault (NAF), the branch where an earthquake is expected in Istanbul, and issued the warning: "It could affect stress distribution."
