In the time that has passed, Alçı's statements regarding Kütahyalı have caused a stir on social media. Alçı had alleged that she suffered physical and psychological violence from her ex-husband.

Most recently, Alçı made a notable statement regarding the alimony issue while appearing on a live broadcast on Ekol TV. In response to the question posed to her on the program, "They don't believe you really aren't receiving alimony. I said, 'I know she hasn't received it,'" Alçı said:

"Let's not get into these things at all. We have alimony on paper too, but the law does not work for those who do not recognize the law."
