CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, following the discovery of Narin Güran's lifeless body, stated in a post on X that the public must be informed quickly and accurately, noting the following:

"I learned with great sadness this morning that the lifeless body of our 8-year-old daughter Narin Güran, who had been sought since August 21 in Diyarbakır, has been found.

I hope that the incident will be brought to light in all its aspects and that the public will be informed quickly and accurately during this process.

I sincerely thank all the security forces and civilian teams who have been working in the region for days, working tirelessly as if they were searching for their own daughters."
