Narin's brother reveals her last wish before she died: 'Words are insufficient'

Baran Güran, the brother of Narin Güran who was not taken into custody, made a post on his social media account.

Sharing his sister Narin's last wish before she died, Baran Güran stated, "I miss you so much, my Narin. Words are insufficient, my dear. I miss you so much, my Narin."

In his Instagram post, Baran Güran revealed the last thing his sister Narin asked of him.

Baran said, "On the very last day, my dear Narin said, 'Brother, I have something to tell you'..

'Buy me an iced coffee,' she said. I replied, 'I will buy you one.'

My beautiful sister, I would sacrifice myself for you. I miss you so much, my Narin. Words are insufficient, my dear. I miss you so much, my Narin." he stated.

BACKGROUND OF THE CASE

Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21, 2024, in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Diyarbakır's central Bağlar district, was found dead on September 8, hidden in a sack and covered with stones in Eğertutmaz Creek.

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 12 out of 23 suspects taken into custody were arrested, including her mother Yüksel, brother Enes, uncle Salim Güran, and neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar.

The Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court sentenced mother Yüksel Güran, Enes Güran, and Salim Güran to aggravated life imprisonment for the murder of Narin, while sentencing Nevzat Bahtiyar to 4 years and 6 months in prison for "concealing and destroying evidence of a crime."
