NEW DEVELOPMENT REGARDING DNA SAMPLES
As part of the investigation, uncle Salim Güran had been arrested due to DNA samples belonging to Narin found in his vehicle. In a new development, it was stated that the DNA samples collected were found on the driver's seat.

Furthermore, it was reported that uncle Salim Güran responded, "I don't know, I don't remember," to questions regarding what he was doing in the village during the 2-hour and 40-minute period.

"FOUND ON THE DRIVER'S SEAT"
"We have reached very important information regarding Narin from reliable sources. Turkey knew that DNA samples were found in Narin's uncle's vehicle. Our initial information was that the samples were from the seat next to the driver's seat. Today, however, it was reported that the samples were found on the driver's seat.
"NO FINGERPRINTS BELONGING TO NARIN WERE FOUND"
Scientists stated that if she had been sitting in the passenger seat or the back seat, it could be said that Narin had gotten into the car, but the fact that the samples were found on the driver's seat changed the dimension of the incident. It is stated that the samples were transferred to the seat from the uncle. No fingerprints belonging to Narin were found inside the vehicle.

The uncle cannot explain in any way what he was doing or where he was in the village between 16:50, when Narin went missing, and 19:30. The uncle, saying "I don't know, I don't remember," is brushing off the subject.

Narin's family and relatives cannot account for the time between 15:15 and 19:30; they say, "We didn't see." However, Narin went to her great-uncle's house at 17:40 and spoke with her two cousins at the door. These are in the gendarmerie records."
