National Defense Minister Güler in the UK

National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler has paid an official visit to the UK at the invitation of UK Secretary of State for Defence John Healey.

Minister Güler's plane landed at Luton Airport in London. Güler and his accompanying delegation were welcomed there by Turkish and British officials.

Those welcoming Minister Güler included Turkey's Ambassador to London Osman Koray Ertaş, London Armed Forces and Naval Attaché Colonel Özgür Dündar, London Land Attaché Colonel Ferit Can, UK Army Basing and Infrastructure Director Major General A. J. Smith, and other officials.
