Necklace robbery suspect arrested in Kadıköy for brandishing a weapon
17-year-old E.B.Ö., who was under house arrest on charges of threatening a person with a knife and stealing their necklace in Kadıköy in April, has been detained again and sent to prison for brandishing a weapon and posting obscene content on social media. 16-year-old T.M.Ş., who was determined to have acted with him in the same incident, has also been referred to the courthouse.

A suspect who was under house arrest on charges of robbery at knifepoint in Kadıköy has been arrested for brandishing a weapon on social media.
The Istanbul Police Department announced that 17-year-old E.B.Ö., who was under house arrest in connection with a robbery that occurred on a street in Caferağa Neighborhood, Kadıköy, on April 27, has been arrested for the crimes of brandishing a weapon and obscenity on social media.
The statement included the following:
"In the ongoing process, the suspect E.B.Ö. (17) was apprehended again by police teams due to the crimes of brandishing a weapon and obscenity on social media, and was arrested by judicial authorities on May 29 and delivered to a penal institution. Regarding the robbery of H.F.Y., T.M.Ş. (16), who was determined to have acted together with E.B.Ö., was also apprehended and referred to judicial authorities on June 1 following processing."
Regarding the robbery incident on April 27, the statement noted that while H.F.Y. was sitting on the street, the necklace around their neck was forcibly taken by 17-year-old E.B.Ö. The statement further indicated that the suspect was apprehended by the Public Security Branch teams on May 6, referred to judicial authorities on the same day following investigation procedures, and was placed under judicial control measures including house arrest.
