Netanyahu admits: Decision to expand occupation in Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he has instructed the Israeli Army to expand the occupation in southern Lebanon, in the region where the population has been forcibly displaced.

The escalation of the occupation in Lebanon was announced by Netanyahu during his visit to the Northern Command. While ordering the army to expand under the guise of a 'security zone,' Netanyahu stated that they are determined to 'fundamentally change' the situation in the region.

TARGET OF THE OCCUPATION: SOUTHERN LEBANON

Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that the Israeli army will continue its goal of expanding the occupation in southern Lebanon. He said that Israel will continue to use 'force' until this goal is achieved. With his threats that the attacks in Lebanon will continue, he has further escalated tensions in the region.

ADMITTED THEY CARRIED OUT THE ATTACK

In his speech, Netanyahu argued that they have achieved great successes against Iran and that Hezbollah is no longer at its former strength. Furthermore, he admitted that Israel is responsible for the attacks in Lebanon and openly took responsibility for the occupation. Netanyahu also stated that they have occupied the buffer zone in southern Syria and a large part of the Gaza Strip, sending a message that the occupation in Lebanon will also expand.
