Netanyahu furious: Turkish flag crisis in Gaza

Construction machinery and workers bearing Turkish flags have started reconstruction efforts by clearing rubble from the ruins in the region. Workers continued debris removal and excavation work under the shadow of Turkish flags.

In a statement following the images, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that "no Turk has entered or will enter Gaza." U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance supported Netanyahu's statement, adding that "no one can force Israel."
However, according to the peace agreement signed between Israel and Hamas, in which Turkey is also a guarantor country, the provision of access for Turkish teams to Gaza is legally mandated.
CRITICISM OF NETANYAHU FROM ISRAELI MINISTER
Israeli Minister Meirav Cohen reacted to the operation of Turkish humanitarian aid organizations in Gaza. In her statement directed at Netanyahu, Cohen asked, "Where is the absolute victory that Netanyahu speaks of?"
Netanyahu, for his part, argued that the workers seen in Gaza with Turkish flags were not Turkish citizens. He claimed that the workers were merely wearing the vests of international aid organizations.
AFAD TEAM WAS DENIED ENTRY
It was also recalled that an 81-person AFAD search and rescue team was denied entry into Gaza last week. It was emphasized that Netanyahu is "determined not to let any Turks into Gaza" regarding this matter.
Regarding the potential deployment of Turkish troops to Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated, "I have very strong views on this. Do you want to guess? I think you know."
