Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared a New Year's message featuring a photo of himself with an F-35 fighter jet, against the backdrop of ongoing tensions with Iran.

Netanyahu posted the message on his social media account to mark "Rosh Hashanah," the Jewish New Year according to the Hebrew calendar.

It was noted that in his message, Netanyahu used a photo of himself with an F-35 in the background, amidst the tensions with Iran.

Wishing Israelis a happy new year, Netanyahu said, "It will be a year of total victory."

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on October 1 that it had launched an attack on Israel with dozens of ballistic missiles.

Following the launch of the missiles, sirens sounded across the country, particularly in Tel Aviv.

In a video statement released at the time, Netanyahu said that Iran had "made a big mistake" with the missile attack and that "it will pay the price."
