Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made statements regarding Iran at the Ministry of Defense building in Tel Aviv. Netanyahu stated that attacks against Iran would increase in the coming days. Describing the current process as "what I have aspired to do for 40 years," Netanyahu said they would "deliver a definitive and crushing blow to the terror regime."
The statement shared from Netanyahu's X account is as follows:
"I have just finished a meeting with the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff, and the head of the Mossad. I have given instructions regarding the continuation of the operation.
Yesterday, we neutralized the dictator Khamenei. Along with him, we also eliminated dozens of senior officials of the oppressive regime.
Our forces are currently striking at the heart of Tehran with increasing intensity, and this will intensify even further in the coming days.
However, these are painful days. Yesterday, we lost our precious people here in Tel Aviv, and now in Beit Shemesh as well. My heart is with the families; on behalf of you, the citizens of Israel, I wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.
To secure our existence and our future, we are mobilizing the full power of the Israel Defense Forces in this campaign, like never before.
However, we are also including the support of the United States in this campaign: my friend, US President Donald Trump, and the US military.
The combination of these forces allows us to achieve what I have aspired to do for 40 years — to deliver a definitive and crushing blow to the terror regime. That is what I promised — and that is what we will do."
