Ayşe Ateş, the wife of former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş, claimed in a post on her X account that Eray Özyağcı, the prime suspect in Sinan Ateş's murder, was hidden in Bolu for a period following the assassination.

Ayşe Ateş questioned why the home of MHP Bolu Deputy İsmail Akgül's father was searched one month after the murder, and why a vehicle registered to his father was brought to Ankara for fingerprint analysis.

The post made by Ayşe Ateş is as follows:

"Why was the family home of MHP Bolu Deputy İsmail Akgül searched approximately one month after Sinan's murder? Why was the vehicle with license plate 14 AAY 148, registered to his father, brought to Ankara for fingerprint identification, and why was the vehicle examined in such detail?

Information: According to License Plate Recognition System (PTS) records, there are strong suspicions that the hitman Eray Özyağcı changed vehicles in Bolu and was hidden in Bolu for a period instead of being taken to Istanbul."
