New appointments signed by President Erdoğan published in the Official Gazette

Appointments made with the signature of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette. According to the appointments, Yasin Akar, General Manager of Services for the Disabled and Elderly at the Ministry of Family and Social Services, was removed from his post and replaced by Taha Kürsad Sezen. Additionally, Ertan Yalçın, who was serving as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Plurinational State of Bolivia, and Makbule Başak Yalçın, who was serving as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Ecuador, were recalled to the headquarters.

Mehmet Cem Kahyaoğlu was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Guinea-Bissau; Gülsun Erkul, General Manager of Consular Services and Citizens Living Abroad, was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Hungary; Özgür Arslan, Deputy General Manager of OIC and Muslim Minorities, was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Niger; Nevzat Uyanık, General Manager of Public Diplomacy and Strategic Communication, was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Malaysia; Korhan Karakoç, General Manager of Humanitarian and Technical Aid, was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Kingdom of Sweden; and Halime Ebru Demircan, Deputy General Manager of the Council of Europe and Human Rights, was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Madagascar.

Furthermore, Muhammet Mustafa Çelik, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Angola, was recalled to the headquarters and replaced by Özgür Uludüz.

Rıfkı Olgun Yücekök, Deputy General Manager of Migration Policies, was appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Personnel at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a position that was vacant. Mert Doğan was appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Migration Policies.

Additionally, at the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), Cengiz Gevrek, General Manager of Management Services, was appointed as Vice President; Mehmet Ali Öncü was appointed as General Manager of Management Services; and Bayram İzzet Taşçı was appointed as Head of Guidance and Inspection.

Mahmut Çolak was appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Innovation and Educational Technologies at the Ministry of National Education, a position that was vacant.
