New chapter in the inheritance dispute between brothers in Menzil: Harsh words from Saki Elhüseyni

As the ongoing debate over inheritance and foundation assets between brothers in the Menzil community continues, the community's current leader, Saki Elhüseyni, persists in his accusations against his rival brothers, Mübarek and Fettah Elhüseyni.

While Saki Elhüseyni denies claims that there is an inheritance dispute within the community, he alleges that his brothers are acting against the "order of the community and Sharia." Elhüseyni had previously linked his brothers' stance to a file that had surfaced regarding Alihan Kuriş, the leader of the Süleymancılar group.

CALL FROM SAKİ ELHÜSEYNİ TO STATE INSTITUTIONS

Saki Elhüseyni had previously made assessments regarding the ongoing title deed lawsuits with his brothers during a conversation within the community.

Addressing the arguments put forward by his brothers in these lawsuits, Saki stated that he was trying to protect the rights of the public regarding properties with foundation status located in Menzil and outside the village, arguing that state institutions should take responsibility in this process.

Saki Elhüseyni used the following expressions in his statement:

“The public owns and protects, and will continue to protect, the places that are in the nature of foundations, both in Menzil and outside the village. However, I hope that the public will also assist them in this struggle for rights. I believe that state institutions, in particular, have responsibilities in this matter. No one should exploit official legislation to usurp the rights of the nation. My greatest wish is for the state to protect the nation, and for the nation to protect the property of the Ummah.”

NEW ACCUSATIONS AGAINST HIS BROTHERS

According to a report by Cumhuriyet, Saki Elhüseyni used even harsher language regarding the actions of his brothers, Mübarek and Fettah Elhüseyni, in a statement released the other day.

Describing the actions allegedly carried out by his brothers as "so-called brotherhood," Saki stated that the bond of brotherhood and the legal relationship between them had ceased to exist.

In his statement, Elhüseyni also made various accusations regarding the use of foundation assets and used the following expressions:

“They reached out to the foundation assets that the Ummah had saved from their own meager earnings to donate to charity. How do they reconcile the ‘brotherhood’ rhetoric they constantly use with the fact that they are expelling the ‘sofi’ (disciples) who keep these structures alive with their own sweat and conditional donations, distributing the rights of guidance, locking doors, and embezzling the foundation assets entrusted to them by treating them as personal property?”
