New details in beauty salon hidden camera scandal: 14 thousand intimate images sold!
The investigation into intimate images of women recorded without their knowledge at a beauty salon in Bakırköy has been expanded. Digital analysis revealed that approximately 14,000 images were sold for a fee via Telegram and X, and one additional suspect has been apprehended as part of the investigation.

One more person has been apprehended in the investigation into allegations that intimate images of women were recorded without their knowledge at a beauty salon in Bakırköy, Istanbul, and that these images were published on digital platforms for a fee.
Teams from the Bakırköy District Police Department launched an investigation on August 28 following complaints from 4 women. In their statements, the women alleged that they were recorded without their knowledge at the beauty salon they had previously visited in the Zuhuratbaba neighborhood.
HIDDEN CAMERAS INSTALLED IN DEVICES
During searches conducted by police teams at the workplace, an active RIP device with a hidden camera mechanism installed inside, 6 previously dismantled RIP devices, and numerous digital materials were seized.
Investigations also revealed that the business owner had kept the camera-equipped devices in storage instead of handing them over to official authorities prior to the judicial search.
14 THOUSAND IMAGES SOLD FOR A FEE
Initial examinations of the seized digital materials revealed approximately 14,000 video recordings. It was determined that the intimate images of the women were offered to subscribers for a fee via a Telegram channel named “Secret TV +18” and on the X platform.
As part of the investigation, the business manager F.Ö. and E.S.C., who was identified as having installed the camera and security systems, were apprehended.
TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED
F.Ö. and E.S.C. were arrested on August 29 by judicial authorities on charges of “Unlawful Dissemination or Seizure of Personal Data” and “Violation of Privacy.”
In the continuation of the efforts, A.Ç. (30), who is considered to be linked to the publication and sale of the images on digital platforms, was also apprehended at his residence in Küçükçekmece on August 29. Digital materials seized at the address were confiscated.
It is understood that A.Ç. will be referred to judicial authorities.
The investigation is expected to be expanded to include not only the connections regarding who published and sold the images but also the individuals who purchased this content.
