New details have emerged regarding the incident in which 2 terrorists from the DHKP/C terrorist organization were killed after opening fire on the police checkpoint in front of the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan, resulting in the death of 1 civilian and injuries to 5 people, including 3 police officers.
While police investigating the connections behind the attack have detained 96 suspects in a series of operations so far, it was learned that 48 bullets, numerous plastic zip ties, pieces of cloth with organizational content, beanies, black tape, pepper spray, and a device of yet-to-be-determined nature were seized from the bag and the persons of the neutralized organization members.
