New development in the 'Palalı Sabri' murder case!

Six people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Sabri Çelebi, known as 'Palalı Sabri' (Sabri with the Machete), who had attacked protesters with a machete during the Gezi Park protests in Istanbul. Sabri Çelebi was shot to death by Çetin G. following a heated argument involving profanity that broke out after he left his workplace to speak with his former business partner, C.K.

A new development has occurred regarding the murder of Sabri Çelebi, known by the nickname 'Palalı Sabri'. Following the investigation, 6 out of 8 individuals brought to the courthouse were arrested and sent to prison.

ARGUMENT ENDS IN MURDER

In Beyoğlu's Talimhane district, Sabri Çelebi—who became known as 'Palalı Sabri' after attacking protesters with a machete during the Gezi Park protests—reportedly went to the location of his former business partner C.K.'s workplace accompanied by two people. A dispute occurred there. Sabri Çelebi, who got into his vehicle, engaged in a verbal altercation involving profanity with C.K.'s employees. As the argument escalated, Çetin G. drew a weapon from his waistband and fired 9 shots at Çelebi, wounding him critically. Çelebi later passed away at the hospital where he was taken. A man accompanying him was also wounded.

In the operations conducted regarding the incident, 8 suspects, including the suspect Çetin G., were apprehended and taken into custody. It was also alleged that there was a feud between the parties due to commercial jealousy.
