The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has completed the processing at the Ankara Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch of 7 suspects, including 2 police chiefs and 1 commissioner, who were detained as part of an investigation launched following allegations by Serdar Sertçelik, a fugitive defendant in the case regarding the Ayhan Bora Kaplan criminal organization, on charges of "conspiracy to commit a crime," "attempting to influence a fair trial and a witness," "misconduct in office," and "aiding and abetting a criminal."

7 PEOPLE ARRESTED

After undergoing health checks, the suspects were brought to the Ankara Courthouse, where they gave statements to the public prosecutor conducting the investigation.

The 7 suspects, who were referred to the Ankara Duty Magistrate Judge with a request for arrest, were remanded in custody on charges of "attempting to influence a judicial officer, expert witness, or witness," "disclosure of confidential information related to duty," and "aiding and abetting a criminal."
